Current Trend #3 Fur Vests
I have seen so many cute vests around, I have decided its high time that I get one. I just adore the way Erin Wasson wears hers, proving that they are suitable for both day and night:
Look #1: Daytime (Light-coloured fur coat)
Here are some of my favourite styles that are floating around the shops at the moment:

I have seen these kind of boots in a lot of shops lately, they were popular during summer, and appear to be continuing on throughout autumn... I am currently crushing on brown/ beige coloured ones in particular! Here are some of my favourite styles:
The 'Devon' boot, by Therapy, available in brown and black from Wanted Shoes.
I like the look of these because they seem easy to wear, and are neutral enough to suit pretty much any outfit. They are also inexpensive, at just $59.95 a pair.

The 'Brad' boot, from by Wittner shoes, available in Beige and Ash suede.
I like these boots because if, like me, you are slightly on the shorter side, it will give you just a little bit more height without having to fully commit to the traipsing around that comes with wearing heels! Which is also perfect when, like me, you spend most of your days walking around a university campus. These boots also are very similar to the rag & bone 'Durham' boot- excluding the hefty price tag of course, as these are priced at
$169.95. A worthwhile investment, in my opinion.
Also from Wittner, the 'Chuck' boot, also available in a beige colour and black.
The buckle detailing really causes this boot to stand out, in my opinion. Plus anything with the name Chuck will get my vote
(Chuck Bass anybody?)
Price: $179.95

As a part of the rag&bone Autumn 2012 collection, they have released a range of ankle boots. One of my favourites is the 'Harrow' boot (pictured). Made from Italian leather, it is definitely a top of the range shoe. Priced at $495, it is definitely a luxury buy, and one that may be a little out of the price range of a university student. Oh well, a girl can dream.
Available online at http://www.rag-bone.com or in store at Tuchuzy, Bondi Beach.

Current Trend #1: Minimalist Colour Palette
I don't know if I'd actually necessarily call this a new obsession, I have always been one for classic colours, but for some reason I have been seeing a lot of this kind of colour palette around lately.

Sydney, I love you.
I have grown up in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia and still currently reside here. I consider myself to be very lucky indeed, as it is an incredibly beautiful place. I was trying to figure out what my first post should be about, and this just seemed perfect because the place of my upbringing has (obviously) made a huge impact on who I am.
